What is the Charlie Wilson Tiny Desk AI trend?

It's a TikTok trend of AI parodies of Charlie Wilson's Tiny Desk concert, where the band singing "Outstanding" by The Gap Band is swapped for other people, starting with college football coaches. On Memelry you upload up to 4 photos and your friends take the band's places, with the original sound, in a 15-second vertical MP4 for $9.99.

One clear photo per person, face visible. Only photo 1 is required; anyone without a photo stays as in the original clip. JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB each.

No account needed: pay $9.99 once and your video starts. Signed in with credits? It uses 10 credits instead.

Where it comes from

Charlie Wilson played NPR's Tiny Desk in June 2023 and closed with "Outstanding". In October 2026 an AI parody putting college football coaches in the band spread on TikTok, and people started making their own with friends, teams and celebrities.
