Choose roles by the action, not by gender
Photo 1 replaces the opening left listener wearing headphones and is required. Photo 2 replaces the opening right speaker holding a book and is optional. With only photo 1, the reference speaker remains. These slots follow the characters through close-ups and the ending.
Either consenting adult can play either role. Put the person whose reaction you want in slot 1, and the person who speaks and exits in slot 2. Reversing these assignments produces a different cast in a separately paid generation.
Use two portraits rather than one couple photo
Prepare one clear individual photo per slot. If you start with a shared photo, crop each adult separately so the intended face and outfit are visible. You do not need matching backgrounds, a joint photo session or a combined AI image.
Keep the anniversary message outside the dialogue
The prepared clip does not insert your names, change the line to a favorite band or create a wedding scene. Add your own anniversary message when sharing. It is a playful elevator remake, not a custom conversation or a still-photo collage.
